What you get with TrueWatt

Five things we don't compromise on.

Most solar firms compete on price. We compete on what happens after the truck leaves your site.

01

European-grade products only.

The same panels, inverters and batteries used in top commercial projects across the UK, Germany and Spain. Fully certified, fully warranted. No compromise. No substitution. No "budget alternatives" sneaked into the BOM.

IEC · CE · EN tested
02

Specified for Nigeria.

Tropical inverter variants. Double-coated, moisture-proof cabling. Coastal corrosion certification. Every component chosen for Nigerian conditions from the point of selection.

03

Verified install network.

Vetted, trained and accountable. You know who is on your roof, what standards they work to, and what documentation arrives on handover.

04

Full visibility.

Track your order, installation progress and live system performance in real time via the TrueWatt platform. Every certificate stored permanently.

05

A long-term partnership.

Annual maintenance. Performance monitoring. Warranty management on your behalf. Facility manager training. Years, not invoices.

What 'European-grade' actually means

We test panels at 85°C / 85% relative humidity damp-heat — beyond IEC minimums. We specify DC surge protective devices to IEC 61643-31 as standard, because Nigeria has the second-highest lightning density on Earth and most local installers don't include them. We specify IEC 61701 Severity Level 6 salt-mist certification for Lagos coastal deployments — Severity 6 is the most stringent classification available, and we treat it as default not upgrade. Cabling is double-coated, UV-resistant, and moisture-proof to IEC 62930 / TÜV 2PfG 2642, with MC4 connectors rated IP68.

Why TrueWatt is different

Not all solar is equal. The difference is provable.

Nigerian businesses have been burned by uncertified products, unaccountable installers and suppliers with no aftercare. TrueWatt was built to be the alternative.

Industrial warehouse, Andalusia.

220 kW hybrid solar array across 12,000 sq m of warehouse facility. Fronius commercial inverters. Full monitoring dashboard deployed. High-heat, coastal humidity — the conditions that directly mirror Lagos and the Niger Delta coast.

  • 330k kWh annual generation from a single rooftop array.
  • 78% Reduction in diesel backup usage, sustained across 18 months of monitoring data.
  • Sev 6 IEC 61701 salt-mist certified — the most stringent rating available, the same spec we deploy in Lagos as default.

The same specification discipline and documentation standards govern every TrueWatt installation, in any country.

How it works

Simple processes without surprises.

Five stages, fully documented. No phase begins until the previous one is signed off and on the platform — and that includes by you, not just by us.

1

Discovery & Assessment

A conversation about your facility, energy requirements, budget and timeline. We ask the right questions. No obligation, no pressure.

2

System Design & Proposal

Engineers configure the right system. You receive a detailed proposal: equipment specs, performance projections, financial model and full pricing. Nothing hidden.

3

Sourcing & Verification

Equipment is sourced, certified and quality-verified against IEC documentation before it moves. Track progress in real time via the TrueWatt platform.

4

Installation & Commissioning

Verified installer network commissions to European standards. Commissioning test results, as-built drawings and all certification provided on handover.

5

Monitoring & Partnership

System goes live. We monitor performance continuously. We return annually. We manage your warranties. A relationship, not a transaction.

Accountability

Most solar firms can't answer these questions. We can.

A component fails…
TrueWatt manages the warranty claim directly with the manufacturer. You don't chase anyone.
Performance drops…
We investigate and resolve. It's in our interest to do so — we're paid to keep it running, not to leave.
You need a compliance claim…
Full pack: IEC certs, as-builts, commissioning sign-off. Lives permanently on the platform. You're never searching.
Your business changes…
Systems scale. Capacity is added. If your operation grows, TrueWatt grows with it under the same relationship.
You simply have a question…
You have a named account contact. Not a call centre. A person who knows your site.

We are not in the business of selling systems and moving on. We are in the business of making sure TrueWatt systems work for the lifetime of the installation.

The partnership ahead

Solar is our first chapter.

Clients who engage TrueWatt now will not start a new procurement relationship for each energy infrastructure decision. They will have a partner who already knows their facility, their team, and who is accountable for long-term performance.
